The acquisition encompasses Perlman's extensive catalog, featuring performances of classical masterpieces like Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, and "Black Orpheus"/"Manha De Carnaval." The 15-time Grammy winner's contributions to film scores, including Schindler's List and Memoirs of a Geisha, are also part of the deal.

The partnership will focus on developing new marketing initiatives, exploring sync opportunities, and creating film and television projects. Perlman, who first appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show nearly 67 years ago and is a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration.

"I am excited to work with Primary Wave to see what plans they develop to take care of my recordings and to see what new opportunities they bring to the table," said Perlman, who continues to perform actively.

Primary Wave VP of business and legal affairs Lexi Todd praised Perlman as "hands-down the greatest violinist of our time," emphasizing the company's commitment to sharing his musicianship and story with new audiences.
