The study, conducted by PMP Strategy, will reveal:

  • Projected economic impact on creator revenue streams
  • Size estimates of the AI content market
  • Analysis of potential income losses for creators
  • Revenue growth trends for AI companies

Key participants in the panel discussion include:

  • Björn Ulvaeus (CISAC President)
  • Angeles González-Sinde Reig (Vice President and film director)
  • Marcelo Castello Branco (Board Chair)
  • Gadi Oron (Director General)

CISAC, representing six million creators worldwide, commissioned this study to advocate for protecting human-made works in the AI era. The organization emphasizes immediate action is necessary to prepare for what Ulvaeus calls "the biggest revolution the creative sector has seen."

The study follows CISAC's annual report, which highlighted AI's growing influence in creative industries. Ulvaeus stresses the importance of creator involvement in policy-making decisions, stating, "We cannot let tech companies and policy makers sit at the decision-making table while the creators are left outside the room."

While acknowledging the EU's AI Act as a positive step, CISAC continues to advocate for stronger creator protections through policy engagement and open letters to lawmakers, emphasizing the need for global solutions in managing AI's impact on creative industries.
